I had an African Gray show up in my yard years ago. A good friend has exotic birds so I knew what to do to get him in and care for him until he was adopted out through a local bird rescue org. He doesn’t talk but mimics music patterns according to his new owner.

Retired elementary teacher with 30+ years of classroom teaching and working with ELL students. Trying to find the balance between staying informed and not being overwhelmed by dark days of another term with the orange man. I find solace in nature, animals, family, good friends and travel.
