apparently #closetoyou was meant to be a longer drama so a lot got cut 🥲 tbh it does work better as a short drama tho .. i only cared about jiang bohan and yu mingxi (+ the bff being there to make jbh jealous agsgzcC)

watched up to ep 20 now and basically it’s a high school campus romance but set it in a “college” to avoid censorship pft. the editing and transitions are really bad sometimes but overall it has nice coloring. liu xiaobei is the standout here, he’s the most natural of the cast
