Wishing I could fill the rest of my days with Roman art and Roman cats.

Ah, Giulio Clovio: so like him to depict the roasted human as a figura serpentinata!

Of course. Renaming it "Gulf of America" was a harbinger of the larger "plan."

Yes, we love stories with even a whiff of atonement and redemption.

I think it's best to keep that fact quiet for now, since the current congress would happily vote to put his name on, and take JFK's off.

Sorry--are you saying this one is, or isn't smart?
December 13, 2025 at 6:37 PM
Well, sure the behavior is loathsome, but let me make this story about something I care about.
December 12, 2025 at 4:47 PM
Well, maybe it's just a job. I mean, do we have any evidence that Morgan Freeman actually admires penguins?

"slowing up" is particularly good.

Kalshi! Well, last time I eat their cereal.

The price of a meal is more or less a stable number, while the time taken to earn the money is an aggregate that can be calculated in many ways. Can't comment on the actual piece (no subscription) but as they say, there are liars, damned liars, statisticians, and statisticians in Trumpian America.

Best not to call attention to "inalienable," as some are likely to understand it as "does not apply to illegal aliens." And if enough idiots repeat that, it will become an alternative meaning in dictionaries.
November 29, 2025 at 4:30 PM
Well, at least there are no peer-reviewed studies that prove they didn't really happen.

It's annoying, however, that you have to actively opt out of using it, as in adding "-ai" to your Google search. Kind of like having to specify "no whipped cream" with every food order.

The free market comprised by health-care and mortuary businesses?

Possibly impeared?

They did get "sucked in"--by Republicans. As in:
"These trans people are trying to pervert our youth and attack God and Nature! Lock them up!"
"No, LGBTQ people have a right to exist and seek happiness."
"So predictable--all you Democrats ever talk about is trans people!"

The whole thing seems scuzzy and unethical, but from the article, it appears that the one tip he received involved a lustful Trump walking into a glass door. I'm sure there's more (maybe even in the article?) that I'm missing.

Misread that the first time, but for a moment I thought that co-winkydink was an apt description of J.D.
November 12, 2025 at 6:23 PM
Not exactly assault with a deli weapon.
November 11, 2025 at 7:09 PM
The only possible response would be a Joni Ernst "Well, we're all going to die" gif.

I guess standard toilets really do take too many flushes.

At least there was no axe involved this time.
