Thankfully got a clear night a couple of nights ago. I had 6hrs on this data and managed to add another 7hrs. This is NGC 6823 aka SH2-86 located in the constellation Vulpecula.

Thankfully got a clear night a couple of nights ago. I had 6hrs on this data and managed to add another 7hrs. This is NGC 6823 aka SH2-86 located in the constellation Vulpecula.

#astro Late posting this. The last two weeks I was in Toronto and was fortunate to have crystal clear sky the night of the Lunar eclipse. Blood Moon. Now back home in Scotland under a sea of cloud 😞

#astro Three years ago the Observatory was burned to the ground. This has such an impact on UK astronomers who were avid visitors to the Observatory and its bortle 2 skies location. Now, we have just had confirmation that a new build is going ahead and I for one can’t wait 🤩😍
