No that's not *your* on *our behalf*. Your job is to report the story, presenting all sides fairly and then *we* call it. What Mason is saying here is fundamentally not what the bbc is for!

SUPERB and angrily unvarnished response, by former BBC chairman, Lord Patten.

A woman who lives in Dubai & never actually watches the BBC tells us who should be its next Director General.😳
She then tells us who should be chief of an NHS she never uses. Not only that, she comments about Govt. departments that don’t actually govern her!

SmallTalk TV! 😂

Farage is a patronising, misogynist neanderthal, why any women would vote for him is a mystery to me as he has already made it clear that he wishes to remove the rights we have spent decades fighting for. I agree we must not vote for him if we still want to keep our freedoms.

My colleagues & I have taken a huge gamble to set up @thenerve.news We’re trying to build a new independent publication from the ground up. Social media is our only distribution for now.

Sharing this article in your networks would make a huge difference. Thank you! 🙏🙏🙏

A standing ovation for someone found guilty of tweeting about burning migrants alive. She was sentenced to 31 months for inciting racial hatred. The judge said “You intended to incite serious violence. What you did encouraged activity which threatened or endangered life.” Who’s calling this out?
The Reform UK conference gives a standing ovation to "special guest" Lucy Connolly, who pled guilty to stirring up racial hatred after she called for asylum hotels to be set on fire with people inside them.

I’m impressed by Young Reform:
They’re all wearing smart suits, not shorts & trainer socks.
There are no females in Young Reform; obviously they’re at home cooking dinner & ironing flags.
They are all buff, erect & smell of gum.
Oh & there’s Darren Grime looking pert & comfy.

I was reminded yesterday that it's nearly 10 years since this heartbreaking image of a dead child washed up on a beach appeared in the UK press.

Now the same press and wider media normalise dehumanisation on a daily basis and our government tries to match the nastiness of Reform, not counter it.
