It's curious to me that in the US, it was the Republicans who banned slavery. More recently, the 1960s, there was the Dixiecrats. A lot easier in the UK where it was the Whigs, forerunner of the Liberals that abolished the slave trade, then slavery.

That's because you and the rest of the woke literati don't understand how the economy works. We need the wealth creators to earn as much as they can whilst paying less tax. Hopefully some of them will fund charitable institutes(tax deductible). The poorest who will get bread and cicuses. Simple.
