The highlight of the trip for me was our visit to the Keres Children's Learning Center, where we were given the chance to observe and learn about their immersive language program built to maintain and promote Cochiti Keres!

I was intrigued by what people chose to ignore the rules in order to write on the pillars along the creek! It seems that a lot of families travel to Chimayó together. Of course my favorite was the message and drawing memorializing the dog Lucy
