Fábio has massively underperformed for Porto, he’s considered a flop in Porto. It’s sad, but thats the biggest issue. Arsenal will have noticed that. It’s unfortunate but more likely his poor performances don’t give AFC confidence he can positively contribute, even now, for us.

I guess Valencia were recently back-to-back finalists in the Carew era. Atlético won Europa the year we lost to them. Gap in quality between La Liga and PL arguably smaller in AW era too. Don’t get me wrong, very happy for this to continue - we could well be back in Spain to Bernabeu soon…

A fair few of those were against peak Barcelona (and their refs) We haven’t exactly played Zidane, R9, Figo, Messi, Iniesta and co against Seville and Girona to be fair.

The point is fair, but how do the minutes rack up in that team this month compared to others? Surely not many number 9s in the PL have played as many minutes as Havertz? He’s exhausted, the team is exhausted.
