Being home alone and looking to the dark and empty spaces of the house, often cause me a feeling of being observed. The impression of looking behind while going to bed, and something look back right into you all of a sudden scares me often.

Whenever I walk around the house at night, I look at the dark spaces and think, "What if someone were watching me right now?"

So I made this painting about that specific feeling, that maybe I shouldn't look back when I go upstairs to bed. Because maybe something is watching me back.
