The #UnitedNations has become so weak and inept that it's easily ignored by other nations and they do what they want. Israel shirks it, the US enables it and other countries facilitate their own manipulation of it. It should stand for #UselessNetwork instead.

Don't hate the player (well, hate them too), hate the game. It's a product of a system designed around endless growth... which is impossible to achieve. When investors are demanding more and more money be made by companies to drive up the stock price, you get these kinds of things happening.

It may seem antithetical but if you can squeeze more work out of less people, then it translates into real cost savings for companies. If you're a company the size of #Amazon, then you can save millions of dollars because the sheer size of your people reduction is massive.

The layoffs from #AI are somewhat exaggerated. We haven't seen that come into full force yet... it will come but a lot of these layoffs at companies like #Amazon are due to the belief that they feel they're bloated with excess staff. To get more from less people, they need to cut people. #HereWeAre

I believe his mother's family is but his father's family is of Dutch/German background and are White-Afrikaan.

If you live in North America or Europe, you're used to hearing about how terrible #Russia and #Iran are on the regular. Other distractions are brought up too... and often, the media will exaggerate some of them to distract from atrocities committed by the #US and #Israel. That's messed up.

No, it wasn't always like this in companies. It's an evolution that has become popular in recent years especially in Tech companies. Now, everyone is copying everyone else and putting these terrible practices into place because of it. #BadTrend

I could see that being the case. The outcome definitely has some sort of jealousy or hate behind it from someone in the voting bloc.
