Terminé de leer Pedro Páramo. Me encanto aunque se me dificulto seguir los diferentes puntos de vista de la narración, pude seguirle el hilito a la historia. Mientras leía sentía que cada personaje me contaba los chismes del pueblo de Cómala.

What was your favorite moment as a scholar? Was it the dinosaur report in 2nd grade? Or the time you had a cathartic moment in college while reading studies where you actually felt seen as a Mexican-immigrant-woman? Both moments are equally as important.

If our children are behind in reading it’s more likely they’ll be behind in life! And this fact comes from studies analyzing the correlation between reading levels and poverty levels.

I admire all school teachers who make their students write paragraphs to express their reasoning. ❤️

It is so crucial that our student know how to express themselves in order for them to think for themselves. We want to cultivate a more equitable world and this is how. Education.
