It's starting to get loud out there. Time to make sure the cats are in for the night. I have treats, toys, and a loud book or the TV to distract them. Happy 4th.

At the first of this week's vet appointments. Rotten kitty isn't amused. I'm pretty sure she'll be in a worse mood after her yearly vaccinations and check up.

I officially hit my quota of doing stupid stuff for the month. I just dropped a sledgehammer on my bad toe. I'm going to go curl up with an ice pack and a book now.

Mom's cat Willie tried to make an escape on the car ride to the vet. Someone forgot to zip the back all the way up. She enjoyed looking out the window and lots of pets.

Washing dishes by hand because the dishwasher isn't draining and I need it empty to figure out if I can fix it or need to call someone. Today's word starts with an M and isn't safe for work. Hope everyone is having a good day.

Oops, forget to buy macaroni for Mom's favorite pasta salad. Guess we'll enjoy chopped vegetable salad instead.
