It's sad folks have to make decisions like this. FOR MYSELF— my decision to step back was not just KAN-related.

They need to if they want to have any shred of credibility moving forward.

We should be careful to frame this as it truly is "boycotting the EBU due to the inclusion of the Israeli broadcaster KAN"

This is my 10th anniversary year as a Eurovision content creator... This is the 70th anniversary of a Song Contest I have loved for YEARS...

We should be celebrating this year/season...

I don't know anyone PERSONALLY who is celebrating all that's happening today.

This year for National selections I might be in more of a mindset of:

✅Special song: unique and daring that becomes an earworm

✅Visually and vocally competent performance (Duh 🤗)

And!
✅How does this song and artist celebrate the local music scene.

This year I’m kinda like: well, is it all about the winner?

For the most part I tend to be team: May the best LIVE package win AND the track has to do something unique: sonically. I think that way because I’m analyzing from the perspective of: what will give us to most competitive #Eurovision
