Definitely, and the point that I seemingly made badly is that we can just throw more panels at the problem regardless, because they're so cheap. Even just 5 years ago I'd have had a more nuanced opinion, but prices are crazy.

To be fair, I'd venture that Australia has way more insolation than we do - but regardless, solar is getting so cheap than any other option doesn't make economic sense anymore.

Obsidian is unfortunately not open source, but tends to get lumped in as such because it's just an interface for markdown files and has no lock-in.
