Never before in American history has one state's military force been deployed in another state over its objection.

I say never because the Civil War involved states whose governments legally ceased to exist, their offices vacated by constructive resignation, with no legitimate governors to object.

Me knowing history pretty well, I saw it years ago, too.

Went through a similar situation with friends and family, and feel the same sorrow.

I think these career politicians are in for a few surprises, although their experience is telling them otherwise. 😏

I remember the 1960s. The threat I feel from our own government we felt from the Soviet Bloc and the Vietnam War while social revolution was occurring. We just haven't had that kind of upheaval in 50 years. This Nazi invasion is something new though.
