I did run an event like this a couple of years ago around Pacific Spirit Park in July/August.
Not sure how well it would translate to run it in April, but would be easy to adapt!

I’m excited for the “we can just do things” one! April seems too far away to wait for it!

Yes! I have that hardwired into my deployment scripts.
Saves 29Mb a time (it’s a relatively small image) but that adds up quickly with multiple deploys every evening!

Total scope here while I’m talking about a video issue.
Have you considered a zoomable, slippery canvas for playing video?
It would allow the user to pinch and zoom into any area of the video they choose, at a selectable zoom, versus the double tap to zoom into video centre that happens today.

Could be its own lexicon namespace and use the same bsky lexicon to enable the dual post?

Oh yikes. Good luck! If you’re stranded, it’s a lovely airport (and you could always business expense the Fairmont hotel in the arrivals area if you’re reallly stranded!)

I believe this is fairly reproducible - inescapable videos. Play a video from a quote post in the main feed screen. Make it fullscreen. Rotate your phone to landscape.
There’s no way to escape the video to get back to the feed, other than force closing the app.
