This 👆not sure when pizza prices jumped, but it’s insane to pay $30+ for a basic pizza.

Well… they are No. 1 in the country…

I’m afraid it’s getting to point of “too big to fail” status

It won’t just be your next PC that’ll cost more. Your next phone, gaming console, TV, anything that has memory will cost more. Also, infrastructure projects will take longer and cost more since all of our skilled construction workers are busy building data centers. But the videos will be great.

C’mon now, it’s not just due to tariffs, don’t forget about AI
December 27, 2025 at 1:40 AM
😬… Not sure this’ll end the way the Texans game did last year

Th extended huddle makes it seem like the refs were unsure too

Voiding the guarantee doesn’t mean he’s lost the money; it means his contract value is no longer guaranteed. However, the Steelers could (1) keep him on contract w/voided guarantee and he’s paid the contract value and/or (2) the Steelers could chose to not void the guarantee given the circumstances
December 24, 2025 at 1:52 AM
I’m a Lions fan, I’ve grown up being on the wrong end of every call. So I understand bias. However, initiating contact with a fan in the stands is unacceptable in all circumstances.

Context
December 24, 2025 at 1:41 AM
Regardless of what was said, he hit a fan, zero place for that.
December 24, 2025 at 1:40 AM
But… he signed a contract with the conduct clause in it. It’s not dissimilar to other items that bar players from doing things like riding a motorcycle that could risk their ability to play. It’s harsh, but it’s in the contract. However, the Steelers could choose to not enforce it
December 24, 2025 at 1:38 AM
Yup… the guy instigated it and ruined the experience for everyone around him. No room for that.
December 24, 2025 at 1:36 AM
Lamar hit the fan is response to being hit which was considered self-defense as the fan initiated contact and the fan was banned. As for Lawson you’re right, he shoved a fan, but unlike Metcalf he was within the vicinity of multiple security guards and teammates who substantiated what was said.
December 24, 2025 at 1:34 AM
Two games is relatively light, likely because of what the fan said.
December 24, 2025 at 1:27 AM
So, don’t include any type of conduct clause then? That’s what you are suggesting
December 24, 2025 at 1:25 AM
Regardless of what was said, you are aware a player hit a fan, right? The rules are unambiguously clear; that cannot happen.
December 24, 2025 at 1:24 AM
Not sure I follow here. Metcalf is in control of the situation. As a player he can have a fan removed and then file a complaint with the NFL and have the guy banned; no need to hit the guy. The Lions and the NFL have a documented history of zero tolerance around this type of fan misbehavior
December 22, 2025 at 5:52 PM
Why did he speak to the guy if he has a history with him. The @freep.com confirmed he’s a weirdo, and should be banned, but c’mon, don’t hit the guy.
December 22, 2025 at 4:39 PM
Lateral…
December 22, 2025 at 12:54 AM
I’m betting the fan said something not great, so the ejection isn’t surprising, but a player hitting a fan with zero consequences is insane even if there is a fine or suspension later.
