They say time heals. They lie. Time only twists the knife more slowly, making you savor the wreckage. I see her everywhere. Not in the flesh, that joy was cruelly erased, but in places I should avoid, where I inevitably lose myself remembering her.

Condolences. I adored my mother, although I was adopted at birth no one could say she wasn't in anyway outside of the biological delivery that she wouldn't have walked through a brick wall for me.
