Last week, we launched our research paper on ‘Identifying co-parties to armed conflict in international law’
@chathamhouse.bsky.social. When States go to war, they often rely on the support of others. So do non-State armed groups - and international organisations. 1/

Delighted to see our piece (with the wonderful Claus Kreß) on inter-State assistance in war (in French) out in the current volume of the Annuaire Français de Droit International. Un grand merci aux éditeurs !

DM me if you’re interested in the paper and lack access to it.

Last week, the wonderful Hannes Jöbstl joined our International Dispute Settlement class in snowy Berlin @jurafuberlin.bsky.social from The Hague to give our student a rich account of how the ICJ works behind the scenes. Hardly surprising that the students loved it - thank you, Hannes!
