Exactly this. It’s why the first Toy Story barely showed the people and even then only Sid. They knew they couldn’t render them in a non-terrifying way yet so they just … didn’t.

yeah my porch has had the same string of lights on it since 2021. I halfheartedly shifted them around a bit this year bc the end of one string was out entirely, but now another middle section is starting to go. I can't be bothered. New lights next year.

my two ceramic trees are in a hat box in the nook over my bedroom door, just too high for me to get to them without help, and I'm just like ... eh ... too much work.
I was given some cedar garland last week that I finally put over the front door last night. That might be it this year idk.
