Like I would be furious if anything was spoiled for me so I’m not going to do that to someone else

Ugh Ghost of Yotei I love you so but it’s definitely too early to post spoilers

14) are there any of your OCs you find yourself neglecting?

Neglecting is such a harsh word lol. I make far more than can become fully fleshed out, and there’s nothing wrong with that lol

12) an OC you've killed (or want to)

I rarely kill my main characters. Lots of dead parents and shitty men tho.

13) are any of your OCs parents?

Not really, no. I don’t know any children so I don’t have a lot of inspiration for how they’re raised.

Yeah, it’s not even that I necessarily disagree with the politics, I just can’t have that negativity on my feed all the time

11) would you consider yourself nice to your OCs?

Meh. Nice isn’t my goal.

I do sometimes think of myself as an exhausted parent, kicking my adult children off to college.

“If you stay here, you won’t do anything but eat my food so go make something of yourself. Don’t ask me for money.”

10. FAVORITE OC DESIGN

In a long list of TTRPGs that lasted a single session… my Lancer OC Preshea, a former child celebrity who learned to pilot mechs after her chauffeur tried to kill her.

Really sad she never got to go anywhere, she brought a lot of glitz to a military heavy team.

9. WEIRDEST OC

I don’t do a lot of weird ones, but one of my older OCs was a vampire who lived for hundreds of years, building up a kingdom and then watching it fall.

This was before Twilight, and drinking animal blood made her take on the aspects of those animals, eventually driving her mad.

8. DO YOU SHIP YOUR OCS WITH SOMEONE ELSE'S OC?

Not generally, no. My friends don’t like romance the way I do lol

In a looser sense, I do make OCs to ship with video game characters. Don’t think that’s in the spirit of the question tho lol

7. FAV OC SHIP

One of my scrapped stories was a WLW centered in a small town. The MCs were a mechanic Maridza and the librarian Sophia, who alternated between wanting to leave and wanting to stay.
It was a sweet, punk story, with motorcycles and rainy days in the library.

Yes! Bitching is good! I bitch about tumblr all the time but after ten years of curating my timeline, it’s the most entertaining place on the internet for me.

The CEOs are always going to be shitty. The only real solution is to leave social media all together and I’m not gonna do that lol

6. DESCRIBE YOUR CHARACTER
CREATION PROCESS

- make a new OC when there’s something I need them to do
- give them a good name
- make a backstory that fits what I need them to do
- decide if they’re going to survive
- give em some quirks
- give em a LI
- get attached
- make them their own story

5. MAIN REASON FOR MAKING OCs?) (WRITING, FANDOM, ROLEPLAY, DND ?)

Main reason is writing, just because you need so many when fleshing out characters. But my favorites tend to be my DND characters. It’s a good character creation system, what can I say.

4. ANY VILLAIN OCS?

Yeah, I have a few villains. I honestly prefer morally grey to straight villainy, in which the villain could be the hero if the perspective switched.

3. FAVORITE OC

I have a few favorites… two main favorites are from the novel I’m working on. Also a Jedi OC from back when I played the old republic. They all got the good angst 🤌

Question 17 is oldest and youngest so I inferred the first question meant “had the longest.”

2. YOUR NEWEST OC

The last fleshed out OC is my dnd paladin, a leonin named Aliénor. She’s a disgraced noble whose husband died under /mysterious/ circumstances. She didn’t kill him, I swear.
