Spent the last couple of days seeing my wife’s favourite band with her. I was never a massive fan, and dislike some of their songs, but after seeing them a few times I can say that I have changed my opinions greatly. But, the best part was seeing her smile so openly, so fully. How good’s music?

My neighbour is a nosy, older woman who keeps poking her head over our fence and comes in to her yard whenever we go in to ours to eavesdrop. When she’s not doing that she’s on the phone, standing by an open window, talking about how bad she thinks the Labor party is. Can’t wait to move!

My daughter is so proud of herself for how well she’s doing under-fives gymnastics, and it fills my heart when she tells me all about it.
