The Cass Report, which has been used to justify the ban, is currently undergoing a detailed critique by a BMA Task & Finish Group.

Dr Natacha Kennedy has already published a pre-print of an analysis of data on the harms of the puberty blocker ban for trans kids and young people.

TL;DR - the real harms caused by the ban vastly outweigh any possible benefit.
