My tech stack in 2024:

- Nuxt (Vue)
- TailwindCSS
- Supabase
- n8n

Some others I can use from time to time, mostly for backend:

- Express
- Ruby on Rails

What is yours?
Attention is no longer captured with a perfect keyword or a bigger ad budget.

So how do you win? How do you catch attention?

Don’t play the commodity game. Don’t compete for clicks.

Become memorable.

"Success today isn’t about building fast - it’s about building smart."

AI and no-code tools have democratized product creation. Now, brace for the flood - and differentiate... or drown.

Just checked out Lovable. First thoughts:

- no-code shines for MVPs, admin panels, lead magnets

- it will wipe out a lot of expensive, lookalike SaaS

You can test ideas fast - but crafting engaging UX? Still out of reach.

"The future of the web won't be about flooding it with words. It will be about creating meaning again — with data, creativity, and soul."

AI is killing the web. For the better:

I was in Ghent, Belgium a few days ago.

Stunning architecture and lights, making me feel as if I were in a Harry Potter movie.

People there mostly use bikes to move.

This city brought to me lots of energy and new ideas.

Inspiring.

Tried to improve my blog's Lighthouse score.
Ended up breaking the newsletter form.

Fixed it.

Lesson learned:

- Talk to your users
- Test more
- Treasure patient friends 😅

"Your product, on its own, is not the goal. It’s just a means to an end.

Like a sword in World of Warcraft, it’s valuable not because it’s shiny, but because it helps the player on his quest."

"Change is pain. New tools, new workflows, unfamiliar landscapes. It frustrates, it overwhelms. But then? It unlocks creativity. It multiplies possibilities. It makes you sharper."

The future doesn't care about your job title
Have you realized your job is probably going to vanish in the next few years? Not just evolve a little. I mean: vanish.

Thought CSS component-based naming was the Holy Grail?

Real life: "c_section_about_us_main_wrapper_container".

Painful, verbose, unmaintainable.

Tailwind saves lives.

Just had a coffee with a client near the amazing St Nicholas Orthodox Cathedral in Nice, France.

Built between 1903 and 1912, it is the largest Eastern Orthodox cathedral in Western Europe.

Bluesky is far from being mainstream in France.

Not only regarding adoption but also brand awareness.

When I talk about it, 99% of the people I discuss with do not even know it exists.

When I am asked about what it is, I sum it up as an "open-source Twitter", which is truly SOCIAL.

SEO is still relevant despite the growing adoption of AI chatbots.

Mostly because these apps use web search APIs to feed their users with answers.

And as people expect short answers, it becomes especially important to be in the 1-3 top results.

Every day with no plan is always the same:

- a morning full of hopes
- an evening full of regrets

Setting up clear objectives allows to progress on a daily basis and to get things done.

Even doing 30% of the initial goals feels like progress and brings positive vibes.

Happy New Year 2025!

May this year bring health, happiness and success to you and your loved ones.

And of course... lots of new products to ship.

Happy coding! 😁

Playing tennis is a life saver.

You stay fit, get some fresh air for your mind and meet with great people.

It is also very challenging and useful for mental strength.

Competing in this sport, even at amateur level, puts you on a real journey towards self-control and awareness.

A vast majority of people in business still have not figured out that sharing and interacting on social media is a modern way to do networking, with a much higher reach and speed.

I started learning code at 13 by trying to develop my own video game.

The programming language I picked was C++: I had a book to help me start.

Since then, I have always learned new things by trying to build new things.

What about you?
