What's your take on Cassavetes?
I'm very confused why he was even renting in the first place, let alone a place that was $5000+ a month, instead of living in a home he could have purchased many years ago when he had much more money. Has his management just been stealing from him instead of advising him financially?

Callum Newman reminds me of 2016 Jay White in that he just seems like a nice young man instead of the leader of a villainous stable. Maybe like Jay he's secretly incredibly charismatic and just needs to find his own knife pervert gimmick to let it come out.

I remember seeing it in fake IMAX and really enjoying it. I wish Disney would finally release it on 4K Blu-ray.

Love seeing some point & click representation. I need to get around to playing the Roottrees and Kathy Rain 2.

The casting looks funny but I also never expected Air or Moneyball to be as enjoyable as they were with such a paper-thin premise behind them so I'll wait to see what David O. Russell manages to do with one of these kinds of sports movies.

His discussions with Pablo Torre earlier this year were the same: inane circular reasoning and Gish gallop. It seems like he genuinely just wants to troll people. With his resources and connections he seems to seek such vapid and meaningless interactions. It's very disappointing to witness.

I recall being told to pump the brakes still to avoid wearing down the brake pads so I still do it out of habit whenever I don't need to hold the brakes down to stop safely.

Reagan's "Star Wars" plan was before my time, but I remember the ridicule that followed it throughout the pop culture I consumed as a child. This, though, feels like if Reagan demanded that the U.S. bring back horseback cavalry in 1983 and he's just purchased hundreds of horses to make it happen.

The inclusion of Group 5 teams is pretty bad right now since they're woefully over-matched, but I do wonder as more years of NIL and transfer portal shenanigans go on that we get closer to some sort of parity between P4 and Gof5. 07 App St-Michigan says that upsets can always happen, so I have hope.

Especially considering their ineptitude may have allowed the killer to then travel following their escape to MIT and murder another person if it turns out to be true that the Brown University shooter and killer of Nuno Loureiro are one in the same. A catastrophic failure of law enforcement if so.

I've noticed over the years that slacktivists get really really mad when you make them aware of their slacktivisim instead of thinking about how they can actually influence positive change. Even if they incorrectly perceive it as a slight they're still replying to "negativity" with more negativity.

The gatekeepers for what exactly? Creativity? Who's gatekeeping coming up with an idea and expressing it? Does Mark Cuban have a brain slug attached?

Two immediately came to mind:
1) Going with my family when I was a kid to see Anaconda and there was a group of either college kids or 20-somethings sitting like in either the first or second row that laughed throughout the movie (and were probably stoned).
2) Seeing Borat opening night with friends

It's not a film role but I highly recommend watching his appearance on The George Lucas Talk Show from earlier this year. I had no idea he had these kind of comedic chops.
