So @posthog.com now offer error tracking. Never felt great having 2 huge 3rd party dependancies for "just" product analytics (PH) and error tracking (Sentry), I will have to experiment with just using Posthog for both. Will Sentry ever offer product analytics @cra.mr?

This is fantastic for full stack dev. Permanently group all related files for a service instead of searching and re-opening them all every time you need to add something new front to back. https://twitter.com/anas_araid/status/1635255061088735232

This is great from @Cloudflare, I can finally ditch that big chromium Lambda layer that was only used for rendering PDFs! https://blog.cloudflare.com/introducing-workers-browser-rendering-api/
Automate an isolated browser instance with just a few lines of code
Workers Browser Rendering API is our out-of-the-box solution for simplifying developer workflows, including capturing images or screenshots, by running browser automation in Workers. If you’re interested, sign up for the waitlist.

Cloudflare’s edge-by-default approach to all their services makes AWS and manual region juggling seem archaic at this point

Tip to always see the full URL when Chrome 85 hides everything except the root domain: chrome://flags/#omnibox-context-menu-show-full-urls. Don't forget to right click the address bar after relaunch to enable.

“app-making is nothing like building a house. It’s more like building the first house ever in the history of houses... The only reason anything ever ships is because people just keep working until it’s ready.”

Built myself a new personal site as an excuse to try out the @sveltejs framework. Loving that final build size! https://alexcrooks.me

Still surreal seeing our app @CowTudder (built in a day!) being talked about on shows like Conan and James Corden, and news broadcasts all around the world. News showreel here https://vimeo.com/345898839

I built a Chrome Extension to automatically delete any browser history for domains of your choosing. No need to switch to incognito to keep certain browsing habits secret! https://github.com/alexcroox/history-domain-scrubber https://t.co/0n2rEh2ODi

This will be huge. I have several Electron apps I’ve built that could be replaced with browser versions. “Web Writable Files API: Simplifying Local File Access” https://developers.google.com/web/updates/2018/11/writable-files
The File System Access API: simplifying access to local files  |  Capabilities  |  Chrome for Developers
The File System Access API enables developers to build powerful web apps that interact with files on the user's local device, such as IDEs, photo and video editors, text editors, and more. After a user grants a web app access, this API allows them to read or save changes directly to files and folders on the user's device.
