I was up with @michaelconnelly.bsky.social's "City of Bones." In the novel, Det. Bosch comes to the station early, hoping to snag a John Q. Donut. My wife & I liked the idea.

Before our sons awoke, we delivered donuts to our local ER, PD, and FD. And so, a new Christmas tradition is born.

I’ve just learned that the Supergirl movie is an adaptation of @tomking.bsky.social’s masterpiece comic, a loose retelling of “True Grit.”

So, if you’ve ever wondered, “What if ‘True Grit,’ but with a pretty blonde lady instead of John Wayne as Rooster Cogburn?” then this is the movie for you.
