Complicity seems like a more plausible explanation.

It doesn't seem possible that Ezra is really this oblivious to the nature and functioning of the authoritarian movement he seeks to live with. I wonder if after so many years of status and power you operate on a psychological treadmill of status-quo seeking through out-of-date platitudes.

One of the most frustrating things about the current authoritarian movement's rise is that it's happened before, many times over, is of the same psychology and uses the same strategies, yet MSM insists on being led around by the nose as if they have no idea what's happening.

The overall media response to this, esp compared to other violence like the killing of Minnesota politician, is absolutely nuts. Once again showing there are two different standards for how the sides are covered, and that right-wing propaganda sets the tone for discourse in this country.

What I'm saying isn't remotely complicated. That seems like a deflection. Good day.

You're applying the rules of a jury trial--beyond a reasonable doubt--to the NBA. Sorry but that's not at all how it works.
September 9, 2025 at 5:41 PM
A jury trial is defined by very different rules. You're actually saying the rules of the NBA don't matter, how I think things should operate generally is what matters.

If both $48M deal & $50M inv were legit theres a paper trail of convos and negot. showing good faith. If u cant show those theres good reason. What do u think would happen if the obv appearance of a shady deal doesnt matter and u need a smoking gun--then if ur not circum the cap ur not really trying

Thats not how the NBA nor CBA works. The league has broad powers to do things "for the best interest of the league" and the rule was clearly written knowing there may be no smoking gun and puts the onus on the Clippers to show they were operating above board, which they could easily do if they were.
September 9, 2025 at 5:24 PM
I'm confused why you think the burden of proof is on the NBA to prove beyond what is required by the CBA, which specifically says proof can be as low as the appearance of a shady deal not rationally explained aside from a violation, which puts the onus on the Clips to show it wasn't a violation.

He's both clueless and ineffectual. If he can't lie his way to perceived successes then he has none.

It's frustrating that so many are still led around by the nose by the relentless hypocrisies instead of understanding and thus more effectively dealing with the underlying purpose.
