Our paper on the BAT to diagnose cow’s milk allergy has just been published in Allergy!! I’m grateful to all the team members that made this research possible and to @The_MRC for funding. Hope to be able to use BAT in my clinical practice very soon!!
A new study has found that a test called the Basophil Activation Test (BAT) is more accurate than standard allergy tests for detecting cow’s milk allergy in children & could reduce the need for oral food challenges in allergy diagnosis ➡️ www.kcl.ac.uk/news/basophi... @kingscollegelondon.bsky.social
