I Interviewed The Pogues years ago, and Shane was suitably wasted. It was to promote a “best of” album & he told me he hadn’t seen a copy so I gave him mine. “Oh brilliant,” he said. “Can you sign it for me?” So I did. ‘Dear Shane,’ I wrote. ‘Be lucky. Alex Hannaford’
