From day one, I wanted to implement a shortcut to check how much medicine I have left using Siri. This has been a goal since I started @dosekeeper.com in late 2023, and it will finally be available in the next update.

For many days, I couldn't figure out how to accommodate the information displayed when asking for the last medicine taken, and in the end, I just reused the styling of the 'Coming Up Next' widget.

For many days, I couldn't figure out how to accommodate the information displayed when asking for the last medicine taken, and in the end, I just reused the styling of the 'Coming Up Next' widget.
One thing I’m currently working on is the ability to ask Siri for the last medicine taken in DoseKeeper. Normally, I have to open the app and navigate to the log page to get this information. In the future, it will be easier to access it by asking Siri or using a dedicated shortcut.

Given the size of the Today’s Medicines widget, I decided to add a medium-sized widget called Coming Up Next. This new widget displays the next scheduled medicine dose and will be available in the upcoming @dosekeeper.com update.
