Your story might not be for everyone.

Arguably, the Lord of the Rings is one of the best works of literature in the history of fantasy, but there are plenty of people who don't like it. They are dumb. Uncultured dumb-dumbs (Just kidding).

But you are writing for the other people who did like it.

It couldn't hurt. Let your people celebrate your book and what you accomplished with you. It'll be good to think back on when it feels like you start getting too hard on yourself if you feel like your're losing momentum. Also, use every opportunity to market your book – it deserves it and so do you.

Well... one great thing is - you never stop thinking that you are not in your twenties. Your body however will know - so keep taking care of it - you'll need it for a while after your twenties. Most importantly, though... you learn to like who you are more. It's not always easy... but it's worth it.
