Cherki seems like an opportunistic signing, just not sure we have the squad space for him, have a lot of 10’s. He wouldn’t a winger for us, unless the idea is to have Kerkez overlapping and the LW as a second 10.

Thinking that you need to do things like this to win is exactly why they will never win anything. Just weak mentality.

I’m glad we’re going for a proper fullback instead of a LCB. I really think the trend will die out soon, it makes teams far too static. The dynamism and energy someone like Kerkez would add would massively elevate our LHS, ideal fullback for Slotball.
Heard from a close contact we are trying for early deal for Milos Kerkez ie deal for a summer join (deal in place just gets executed then). Let’s see if it all works out given Hughes/Bournemouth connection. Our relationship goes deeper, Julian Ward’s brother used to be head Iberian scout there too.
