Shower thought: PG MVCC & git are similar. R. uncommitted: random dirty worktrees from random branches show up in yours. R. committed: random commits in your branch. R. read: your branch is private, but merge conflicts possible. Serializable: private branches & need to cleanly rebase on one another.
