The idea that a startup could profit from being a middle man assumes that it takes effort to design these AI systems, and you are capturing that effort as profit.

This gamble only works if it happens that AI only becomes narrowly more intelligent and slightly less unreliable than humans.

And If these tools are too unreliable to understand these descriptions themselves, they are too unreliable to respond once you take half their memory space with tooling they need to remember.

Any smarter than “us” AIs would not require word trickery to interact with APIs, they would just use the actual internet without issue.
