Northern Soul - Keep the Faith
1200 Elo is a fairly mediocre chess ranking, but it is an achievement for me. I am determined to reach my next goal of 1300…….watch out for the update in 2028!

My two boys Rocky (black) & Denzel at peace with the world. Walked & fed and now time for rest. I love them dearly

We’ve had this tree for many years. We call it ‘Assembles in Minutes’ because that’s what it said on the box.

Whilst technically correct, it failed to say that it is at least 120 of them before a light or bauble is near it.

I love it though

This is a spare, free to a good home.

It is in good nick for being 73 years old.

There are a few inaccuracies that have been discovered by historians Tim Stillman, Andy Kelly and Mark Andrew’s. But it is a solid piece of Arsenal literature, and a must for collectors.

Final feed of the Christmas cake this year, last teaspoon of rum before the marzipan and icing go on next week.

The proof of the pudding is in the tasting….but I think it’ll be a good un

Enjoying my dog walk, that red phone box is a Grade 2 listed building. It was unusual as it sold postage stamps as well as the phone.

Looking forward to a lovely Friday in Whitley Bay

Just as I stepped outside with the dogs, a lovely morning

All connected to Arsenal should be proud of this book, outlining the contribution of the black community to the club and vice versa.

No matter where we are from, or who we are…… at Arsenal we are one!

The only colour that matters is red

One of my favourite historic photos of an Arsenal player. Ted Drake being carried off over Tom Whitaker’s shoulder during a game against Brentford.

Read the caption on the left, they don’t make em like that anymore! In fairness there were no subs in those days.

An absolute belter of an Arsenal book.

Whilst I stood on the Clock End, Highbury, it gave me a great view of the North Bank, and to hear the noise and songs travelling across the pitch was brilliant.

This is a collection of memories, and they are wonderful.

Social media exposes young people to such difficulties that old gigs like me never faced. People like these are capable of significant harm and it is great that you can deal with this rubbish.

Keep up the good work Amy, you have your own space on my bookshelf.

As a collector of Arsenal books I have read many historical accounts of the club.

In my opinion these 3 provide without doubt the most detailed, researched and credible evidence. All are magnificent reading if, like me, you like a bit of history. UTG! 🔴⚪️🔴⚪️

One of my favourite Arsenal books, published posthumously in 1934 by Garrick Publishing.

It is a compilation of newspaper articles written by the great man for The Sunday Express.

This 1st edition with a dust wrapper in this condition has a value of @ £300. A bit more than the original 2s6d price

Number 422 in my Arsenal book collection

Another is a Christmas present for my Grandson. He needs to know this stuff!

It’s just exquisite, highly recommended for the Young Guns in your life.

Seager nails it as usual, but Ruth Beck’s illustrations are the cherry on a very delicious 🍰 UTG! 🔴⚪️🔴⚪️
