100 Planes 100 Days - Day 32: The Yak-38 was a naval VTOL strike fighter. Just like the F-35B, it uses an additional fan to take off vertically.

100 Planes 100 Days - Day 28: Project Zveno was a TB-3 or TB-1 bomber converted to a mothership for parasite fighters. This allowed them to get closer to the front line without using their own fuel, increasing the combat range. It probably was a lot of pain to prepare this for a flight.

The Il-62 wasn't really a luxurious airplane. It did have a small bar / galley and toilets. Some airlines had Business / first class configurations. People in #2 look happy, so i guess it was comfortable?

100 Planes 100 Days - Day 24: The Tu-104, probably the worst airliner of all time. Super unsafe, had to use a drag chute to slow down
