Another indicator of the entities the government actually serves

Not many people have influence on what the wealthy choose to spend their money on.

The robots already deployed are non-humanoid: industrial factory robots. Spot, Boston Dynamics', inspection and patrol robot is a quadruped. Drones have propellers, wheels and tank treads - therefore non-humanoid.

Also, Da Vinci designed humanoid "robots" a long time ago.

I meant that robots will be built to the form that fits its function. Those that need to work in the presence of humans will likely be of humanoid form. Those that don't might be built to others forms.

I don't know that people do believe that. However, humanoid robots have their place since the built environment is designed around the human form. Robots that need to function around humans would need to be able to work with the existing built environment.

I hope you're right. Hopefully there will be a proper reckoning before those involved have shuffled off this mortal coil

Having said that LNP winning government anytime soon looks unlikely.

Given Labor's track record on seeking to reduce transparency, I don't think they'll be seeking to seek justice for Robodebt.

They just want to continue pretending to take action hoping this will pull the will over the electorate's eyes.
