I get it. I also want the world to be better for everyone. But I'm a libertarian. I think the same ends are better achieved through decentralized power. If we can focus on the power grab of this administration, we're on the same side. And right now, we should be on the same side.

There were three speeches about the oppression of the working class and the redistribution of wealth. Maybe extreme has the wrong connotation, but certainly not mainstream. Different vibe than the McKinney, Oak Cliff, Fort Worth and Dalhart protests I attended this year.

The sheer number of protests were a problem too I think. I drove past McKinney and Plano protests to get to the Dallas one, but next time I'll take the shorter drive to hang out in McKinney.
The Dallas one was co-opted by more extreme socialist groups too at the expense of the 3.5% goal
