Western pundits wasting time and words on Trump/Netanyahu's Gaza Plan might do well to understand:

Arabs states haven't deviated from the same message—2 states, Israeli withdrawal, Gaza contiguous w/W Bank, and ceasefire.

IOW, they don't support; they're reviewing. This is diplomatic politeness.

Ooh no, Cornwall's Launceston isn't pronounced that way. I live next door on the Devon border but do my supermarket shopping there.

It's Loorn-stan.

I've spent a lot of time explaining to friends and colleagues the very well-funded TechBro dangerous ideas of Network States, TESCREAL, and bizarre eventual government takeover.

@gilduran.com does a superb job here that, as he encourages, must be a warning to all.

Since Oct 1st, after this so-called 20-point peace plan [sic] was announced — minus input from Gazans of course — between 20 and 40 Gazans have been killed *every day*.

Sound like 'on the brink' to you?

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on Saturday that Israel was on the brink of making a hostage deal with Hamas, signaling that Israel was preparing to implement the first steps of President Trump’s plan to end the war in Gaza. But several sticking points remain. Here’s what to know.
Trump’s Gaza Peace Plan: What to Know
Israel and Hamas said they would work with President Trump’s plan to end the war, but a number of sticking points could derail efforts to reach a diplomatic breakthrough.

Hey @nytimes.com — does 'brink' to you mean 'keeps bombing Gazans with no change'?

Since Oct 1st, after this so-called 20-point peace plan [sic] was announced — minus input from Gazans mind you — between 20 and 40 Gazans have been killed *every day*.

Sound like 'on the brink' now?

Petulant man-baby.

At least other authoritarians were evil and intelligent adults. Trump is an evil ignorant child.

Code can refer to plenty of keys of access. As you ought to realise.

And who is the invisible person who cannot prove either open, or cap? (Rhetorical.)

I still want to know who has the original code.

Don't know much about this stuff (don't want to either; Ponzi is enough), but someone, surely, could crash the whole thing in a second.

The evil genius of crypto is that it creates fake ‘money’ that trades for real value. Keep the scam running and you can swallow the world.

That is the endgame.

Maybe that explains his face on the dollar. (Can't be done unless he's dead.)

Last time though, we were all disappointed so I'm not hoping. If there's a God, he really doesn't want him.

@lawrenceodonnell.msnbc.com opened with a blistering 🔥attack on Trump and the government shutdown as well as Epstein.

I hope Lawrence and the @lastword.msnbc.com posts the opening segment. It really rips into and shreds the useless ineffectual milquetoast media over Trump.

👏👏👏

I was going to jump in and say it was a lot higher I was sure. TBI (Blair Institute) has tried to hire me a couple of times over the past few years.

Not a chance in hell. (Note: he's hated here, as is his wife. Plain crooks.)

Not hilarious though. It’s exactly how Trump got elected. Twice.

Even the centre and left media in the US had wall-to-wall coverage. After 2020 they belatedly asked themselves if they had enabled — then did it again before 2024.

I was in the USSR before the Wall came down. I was in 'Red' China before it opened post '90s. I lived for years in an absolute monarchy with little tolerance for government critique.

In not ONE of those places did I see anything close to this, ever.

Per your CNN segment on this Trump/Hegseth meeting with the military leaders) — fully agree that it's a clue to what Hegseth’s meeting may be about.

The German military did precisely this in August of 1934: ghdi.ghi-dc.org/sub_image.cf....

Authoritarians throughout history always do this.

"Hamas official Mahmoud Mardawi told Al Jazeera that the group has yet to receive US President Donald Trump’s written Gaza peace plan.

The White House released a public copy of the 2o point plan shortly before Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu spoke."

This bananapants Yarvin tweet is a perfect example of why it's more useful to think of the US right as a movement defined by emotions and imagination, more than it is a movement defined by anything we could reasonably call "ideas." Yarvin is a first-rate reactionary fabulist, and a 7th rate thinker.

100x this. They all think they are so clever because they read a book and then self-selected internet materials for confirmation bias delivered in word salads.

Dangerously in this case, they're idolised by not just the richest and most powerful people, they have access (Thiel et al) to our data.
