In european? Which european language do you mean? In Dutch this is an ‘eland’, the other animal, mostly associated with santa and his sleigh, is a ‘rendier’. In Swedish it’s “elg” pronounced like alley an “ren” pronounced almost like rain ( bit shorter)

In the north and east of Europe there is a species of crow that have black and white feathers: hooded crow in English. Corvus cornix in latin. A black crow is corvus corone. Thera are according to wikipedia 139 crowlike species all over the world, except in New Zealand

ICE voert razzia’s uit waarbij mensen op basis van uiterlijk worden opgepakt en protest daartegen wordt met geweld neergeslagen. En in de Nederlandse media lees je niets hierover.

My grandmother was 8 when this photo was taken. I always find it strange and special that our ancestors saw the same colors and beauty that we do. Because the photos were black and white, you tend to think of their lives as less colorful, their loves less loving, and their hardships harder…..

I have been on a family vacation in the US in 2023. I wouldn’t think about doing it again as long as Trump is in power. I the meantime we get (political) refugees from the US that ask for asylum, because they are afraid of prosecution or deportation….(please feel welcome)
