Putting aside the mugato in the room for a moment though, there was a 'blink and you'll miss it' thing with Jay-den's uniform choices that I thought was as significant as it was subtle. Definitely an up from me 👍

I desperately wish I could have been a fly on your wall at.. well, you know. No, not that moment, THAT moment.

Apologies, I should have said investors are spooked by what they THINK will sell.

Because investors are spooked by what will sell, not what's good. That's a venn diagram with a rapidly decreasing intersection.

Not an IDE, but do you have an opinion on Sourcehut? Seems promising as an alternative to the likes of github etc., but my trust is also more than a tad low.

One of the odd juxtapositions of being well known is you can have a profound effect on others without ever being aware of their existence. That having been said, I just wanted to say thank you, for more than I can explain.

Well, I was just thinking for example, if Steam had a 'Game accessibility' page on the settings that mirrors as many game accessibility settings as possible, and Steam games could pull that along with the username etc. and use whatever it's able to. Same for default common keybinds/languages etc.

Also, common key preferences, not so much an accessibility thing but for those who don't have quite the neural plasticity of a teenager, it takes considerable mental effort to change your muscle memory if similar games use different keys to do thinks like open inventory or other common tasks.

An accessibility/configuration service that you can register your accessibility needs and controls preferences that a game can access to preconfigure itself to your needs. Game devs coding for that service alone would also raise accessibility awareness.

Yeah, this is why I'm looking into Sourcehut instead, the 'No AI features whatsoever' is a huge boon.
