Literally walked in the door, walked up to the desk, and told the nice librarian I was changing my name. She didn't even ask to see my marriage certificate, just took my word for it.

Librarians are the best.

my scheduled appointment.

My new card will be arriving in about 5-7 business days.

The two points are for having at least some amount of online process as well as how quick it was once I actually got called up. (2/2)

There was an online form I could fill out and submit. And then, I could either mail in originals of my marriage certificate and passport, or book an appointment.

The earliest appointment was over a month out.

I still had to sit in the waiting room for over 30 mins past (1/2)

She do that a lot

I'm not complaining by any means! I just didn't quite expect the timing of it all.

And no, I am ABSOLUTELY NOT looking for more serious partners at this time. If I wasn't polysaturated before, I definitely am now.

How do you keep making lists where I am most of the things? I'm 5/6 on this one.
