Here for the vibes
All that glisters is not gold.
Be honest with yourselves; How many people voted for Trump because they knew anything about his policy or agenda ?
It’s all vibes.
Do voters have a profound understanding of law enforcement or do they just dislike crime ?
The DNC ought to channel this populist age.

Believing in slashing spending and deregulation is one thing; believing this administration is competent enough to do it safely is absurd.

From egg prices to Colombian tariffs, our new president is the enemy of brunch in a million and one ways.

No more turn taking. Connolly is clearly another case of an entitled, incompetent elder statesman; An irrelevant geriatric make-a-wish committee member. Dems keep wasting these picks on unpopular nobodies while republicans go dominate in media and now at the federal level with a supermajority.

Median voter syndrome is real.
Grocery costs are too high so deport the undocumented people who pick produce and work in meat plants.
Housing is too expensive so deport the cheap undocumented laborers who make new buildings.
God forbid we combat the exploiters rather than the exploited.

We are doing a recession speed run at this point.
I’m sure a government shut down orchestrated by President musk won’t help matters.
Gotta love the worlds richest person controlling the majority party in congress through the app he bought.
We aren’t beating the oligarchy allegations folks.

I haven’t heard anybody call for the CEO of Arizona tea to get whacked. Haven’t heard anyone call for the end of Costco’s CEO either. Come to think of it- we didn’t know who Thompson was a month ago. People do not specifically hate Thompson-he wasn’t famous enough for that- they hate the machine.

The assassination of the UNH ceo has made it absolutely obvious that people, for the most part, do not love their health insurance company, their water company, their landlord, or any aristocrats. Nobody is entitled to your approval or love; that includes suits whose goal is to deny you healthcare.

With the holidays coming around I am reminded to not kid myself about who is closest to me. Plenty of people will make long commutes to strangers this year. Me and mine will get to celebrate where we know we are welcome and loved. Together.

I quit.
I’m done swimming upstream of my own happiness.
Being a red-state martyr is bullshit.
I am quitting Texas.

I’m sick of strangers assuming I agree with their myopic bullshit just because I present male and pasty.
I won’t commiserate with you homie I’m queer.
I shouldn’t have to be dressed like tinker bell for you to know where I stand.
I’m going to become your step-dad if you don’t chill.

We need to be tragic heroes in times like these. Don’t look back too often and don’t morn a life that has not ended.
