I am trying to write something every day but the last week has been a bit heavy with work, and I only managed to get the two Santa sonnets written. So here are a couple of haiku written today, which brings my week total to 4 poems (kind of, haiku are cheating a little but a poem's a poem).

I did the Blackhill Club open mic for the first time Friday night. It was a fun evening of poetry. I went with a collection of poems so as to fit in with the vibe and decided on a couple of sonnets about Santa Claus which complimented the evening perfectly.

1 in 3 people in Glasgow don't speak English as a first language???
Considering Scots was made an official language, and 10% of Glasgow are Gaelic speakers which is also an official language, I am really surprised it is just 1 in 3 people. I thought it would be around 4 in 5 people.

Oh joy, we've been banned from Table Tennis.
If you think that transgender women have an unfair advantage in table tennis, then you have been using the paddles for purposes that they were not intended (and even then there's no advantage being transgender).
