Anytime I start up a new RPG and the first thing it wants me to do is to create a character, I'm immediately turned off on playing it. I don't wanna do ANY of that.

Finally reached Super Mario Kart, and wow do I appreciate this game way more when its the only Mario Kart I'm allowed to play.
This game pretty easily kicks F-Zero out of my regular rotation, I can't tell you how thrilled I am to have a solid racing game available for me to play whenever now.

Finally reached Super Mario Kart, and wow do I appreciate this game way more when its the only Mario Kart I'm allowed to play.

I swear, the AI in Street Fighter II must be cheating. The singleplayer is BRUTAL, it really feels like the AI is doing frame perfect reads on most of my moves.

So I've been doing what I call a "Retro Project" where I try attempt to tackle my entire backlog of video games in one, well-organized plan. I was gonna start at the earliest possible point (the 70s) and play every game on the list release order. I started doing this 3 years ago, and am still going.

After using this site for about a month now, I can definitely say that its a heck of a lot nicer to simply exist on here than the other site.

It's been a productive year for me with making progress towards clearing out my video game backlog. I've been playing through games in the order of their original release, starting back in the 70s, and have currently made progress all the way to 1989 with almost 500 games played. I've been busy!

I guess I'm on Bluesky now, since Twitter is on fire. I am a vtuber (on hiatus currently) who likes to play retro games, Pokemon, Yu-Gi-Oh, and video game randomizers. I'm gonna do my best to stay active on here!
