Just dig up the old code, rewrite a few classes, add some cleaner UI elements, and throw it online. No reason to spend more than a few weeks on a crusty old game.

I shared this with my coworkers today. This is important, and even still, sometimes the docs get ignored. It's vital to understand your tools and their shortcomings. AI can tend to enable a lot of things within ourselves, both bad and good.

Development Fusion Effect: ONE has been completed.

Officially 100% launching Next Month. Surreal. A promise I can admit (finally) that I had no clue I could keep. The ambition and scale alone were staggering for me.

But I'm finished.

Wife's birthday party was a great success and a ton of fun! Appreciative of everyone who showed up to celebrate her, make it special, and for giving her an amazing birthday.

Tomorrow is my wife's 30th birthday, and it's to be her most memorable one yet! I'm thankful, deeply, for EVERYONE who's been able to travel here for the party. And my early thank you to those coming tomorrow. It's going to be amazing and so much fun!

The screenshots I took for the game are vastly outdated and do little justice. The public-facing site of the game has also fallen behind. Tons of work have been dumped into the UI/UX, Lore, Storyboards, and cohesion of the economy. Several features are now frozen - they are 100% complete!

As of current, Fusion Effect has over 1000 configurable settings. From how stingy the Casino is being, to how generous deals and discounts are for the seasonal and game events. The game is what it needs to be: a perfect rendition of my vision.

Kelsey (my wife IRL) is a night owl; she's up now.

Fusion Effect has its own economy logic and instructions, and guidelines. These are baked in to withstand around 6-12 months of play. Enough to give initial player bases the ability to establish rarity and worth to a degree.

Seeing the cycle convert the Faction Ads from 60CR to 5000CR was wild ->

Claude's Opus 4.5 is ABSURD! Insanely fast, thinks in an instant, especially against known code bases, implementing features and fixes against a well-documented and understood roadmap. It's brilliant, and I'm loving the major upgrades!

Spending the week ensuring the city map is as close to perfection & vision as possible. It looks incredible, but it needs optimizations.

The game is mostly feature-complete. All planned features have been implemented. 95% of the lore is done. 80% of the items and planned interactions are done.

Sometimes you need to solve simple problems, but you're burnt out, yet, need to continue to make progress. That's a viable use case for AI. Well spec'd out plans and actionable task lists to handle the next implementation or bug fix, some firm guidance from you, and move forward.

I have failed myself through the vessel of AI. I preach AI governance, project specifications, and guidance all the time on social media. I take it extremely seriously at my day job -- less so my side work. My game lost 3 weeks of progress tonight because I let Claude hard reset some git branches-
