I seem to have resolved the issue by not leaving a space between MC and the open bracket. Looks horrible without the gap tho. Such a strange rule to not have Roman numerals. This is the 21st century after all

MC may be Roman numerals, but it's not intended to be in this case. It's a well known Hip Hop term, but for my track it means Main Character.

If I remember rightly, in the book she didn't just chop them off... she cauterised the stumps with a blow torch. I think I'd rather the Peter Gabriel approach
