I'm not important.
anyways, enough bullshit from me, go enjoy the things you enjoy, and I hope I'm proven wrong and what little buildup there is has a worthy payoff.

IHNM is about hatred, what that hatred turns you into, and the flaws in humanity.

TADC is just a bunch of archetypes put through wacky scenarios that then make them sad or angry, while vaguely hinting more is going on.

But the show is more than one source of inspiration, this just bothers me.

Plus my expectations were spoiled by people saying that it's inspired by "I Have No Mouth and I Must Scream" and to be honest. It really does not show it. Is it the characters going crazy and being stressed out by an AI?

Because if that's the connection, it's a weak one.

I like the show, I hope it continue to be successful, but I'm not nearly as hyped and invested as others seem to be, because anything more than character moments are shallow to nonexistent.

TADC is teetering close to LOST territory with how much mystery and intrigue they're setting up, and so far, with how little they've actually followed through on anything.

But genuinely I think anything deeper that people see in the show, is 100% just fans theorizing, and making connections that aren't there.

and since that line, they really haven't explored that any further. If anything Pomni grew accustomed to her situation incredibly fast. Which itself could be a cool aspect to the plot and the characters, but again it isn't properly explored.
December 20, 2025 at 9:25 PM
For example, early on Zooble talks about "Pomni coming out of each adventure traumatized", but we the viewer have only seen her go through two of them, one which didn't really leave her traumatized (that was caines action at the end), and even the show acts as if it's literally been a few days.

Each episode there's some dialogue between characters as if more has actually happened, but as a viewer you only really see one instance of a thing happening, that's implied happens more.

I'm sure there is some actual plot planned out, and I hope it gets better. This recent episode got so close.
December 20, 2025 at 9:25 PM
Even this last episode, which I did enjoy gives away the whole plot within the first couple minutes. Though I'll give them that it's kind of a deep cut reference.

Otherwise the episode just kind of continues the trend of nothing actually happening in the plot, besides character moments.

Most of the characters are just archetypes with little else to their personality, the writers be dammed if they actually go into detail about these characters histories and why they act a certain way.

(even kinger's is still vague)

If It's not obvious, it's all just left up to interpretation.
December 20, 2025 at 9:25 PM
But that writing is also, very obvious and on the nose. If the episode has some underlying theme, it's explicitly spelled out (working fast food is hell!)

and most moments of "x character is losing their shit" tends to be very shallow. Like the "big scene" in the guns episode.

idk man, there's definitely people u[set with the politics, but there's so many more who only give a shit about pop culture.
