had a hell of a time trying to screen mirror from my Google Android phone to a Roku media stick yesterday

apparently Google Cast just doesn't work with anything so that you have to buy a chromecast. and Miracast which is built into android is disabled on Google phones.

under my living room TV there is a Raspberry Pi 4

my housemates use it to stream things on 4OD/ITV player/etc

for some reason, the TV show streams work, but the ad break doesn't work — seems like bad browser support or something

anyway… it's great ! ;]
